Great international artists such as Tigran Hamasyan find space in the program. Two new formats make their debut: Campobase Festival and Riverberi Jazz.
Nextones continues its path of musical experimentation and exploration of naturalistic beauties through performing arts and creative and cultural in-depth activities.
With Awareness Campus, directed by Gabriele Vacis, we begin to explore the opportunities of Tones Teatro Natura as a cradle for practices for the well-being of people.
It is the year of the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. We interpret this disaster as a watershed that defines a world before and after the virus, calling the Before and After edition, a work studio to reason with creatives, philosophers, architects and cultural operators about a possible home for Tones on the Stones. We cannot organize big events with thousands of people, as in the past, and we opt for a more intimate and more widespread formula in the area, which allows us to interpret it in new forms and shades. However, an edition full of great names such as Paolo Fresu and Nicolas Jaar, Anna Maria Ajmone, Riccardo Blumer and Emanuele Coccia.
It is a very successful edition, the first produced by the newly formed Tones on the Stones Foundation. The immersive installations of Aida and No Gravity Show make us reach a record of attendance.
